Who we are
Pusat Bahasa MEC Sdn. Bhd. (MEC Academy Training Centre) is a professional language education centre committed to providing high-quality English training to international and local students. We use internationally recognised teaching methods to develop practical communication skills and academic language proficiency.
Our programme develops proficiency in four core language skills:
- Listening
- Speaking (Oral Communication)
- Reading (Comprehension)
- Writing
The curriculum is designed so that learners progress systematically from basic understanding to advanced communicative competence within a maximum of 12 months.

Qualified teachers, continuous monitoring
Teacher qualifications
Our English teachers hold at least one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in TESOL
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics
- Bachelor’s degree in English or English Literature
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (English specialisation)
Preferred: Master’s in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or Education; TESOL, TEFL or CELTA certification; 1–5 years of English teaching experience, including ESL, international students, IELTS or academic English.
